‘If you don’t believe in miracles here, you are not a realist!’ – those words from the guide during my recent visit to Jerusalem. What a great way to describe the world! I guess those words of wisdom can be transferred to all our lives. If we stop enjoying and admiring life, finding and creating miracles, then what is the point of this life?

‘If you don’t believe in miracles here, you are not a realist!’

When life stops being joy, it might be the time to realize that something is not going right. I have met people who come for coaching not because they were broken or stressed out (those are different issues) but because they were so bored with their lives it was unbearable. They did not like the job, the place they lived in, and did not feel passionate about anything. Life felt tasteless and sad.

What about Plan A of your life?

When we lose ourselves in fear and despair, in routine and constancy of hopelessness, we can forget that life is what we make out of it. What about your ambitions, underlying dreams? And what about Plan A of your life? What is the meaning of this life for YOU?

There is not a single recipe that gives the answer, though we are finding the ways forward with my clients through searching for their passions, establishing their personal values in priority order, having philosophical discussions and discovering their meaning of life.

We live only once!

Those matters can not be postponed if you ask yourself a question: How much of your life is left?

Exciting life or boring life … and whatever is left, it is all you have.

Give it urgency, start with small steps or big leaps to change it or keep complaining… we live once.

Steps for changes:

  1. Read inspiring book
  2. Take a walk in nature
  3. Have a conversation with somebody you respect
  4. Do something for yourself
  5. Use coaching to change your life

Be realist enough to believe you can create the best life you can.
